IN-PERSON TAX ASSISTANCE & IRS ADVOCACY Sometimes tax matters simply have to be handled in person. While most issues can be handled electronically, by phone, video conference, or through our secure client portal, there are situations where hands-on assistance is necessary. You may need help working directly on your computer, accessing tax records, understanding an IRS notice, organizing prior-year information, or determining what tax returns have or have not been filed. You may also need professional assistance communicating with the IRS. DON'T WORRY — TAXES ARE WHAT WE DO Everyone's tax situation is unique. Maybe you have several years of unfiled returns, received an IRS notice you do not understand, have disorganized business records, owe taxes, or simply do not know where to begin. Whether you have organized spreadsheets or a box of receipts, R & I Tax & Bookkeeping Service, Inc. (RITBSINC) is here to help. Depending upon your situation and the authorization permitted by law, we may assist with reviewing IRS correspondence, gathering documentation, responding to notices, communicating with taxing authorities, and addressing tax-related problems. When appropriate and properly authorized, our services may also include accompanying you to an IRS office to provide professional support and advocacy. $450 MINIMUM FEE The minimum fee for this service is $450.00. The $450 minimum compensates RITBSINC for professional time spent reviewing your information, meeting with you, evaluating your situation, and determining the appropriate next steps. Please understand that $450 is the minimum fee and is not necessarily the total cost of your services. Additional fees may apply for IRS advocacy or authorized representation, IRS office visits, travel, research, prior-year or amended returns, tax-resolution services, bookkeeping cleanup, reconstruction of financial records, business tax matters, and other specialized services. If you retain RITBSINC for additional qualifying services, the $450 may be applied toward your total service fee when applicable. WHAT'S NEXT? We will send you an invitation to TaxDome, our secure client portal, where you can safely upload your tax documents, IRS notices, and other requested information.
